Urgent Treatment Centre - early closing
Due to continued pressures and staffing challenges as a result of more staff needing to isolate, our Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) will continue to close early from 10.00pm to 7.00am until 30 September.
We therefore ask patients needing urgent treatment to arrive at the department before 10.00pm.
Closing the UTC early will ensure we have enough staff to safely care for you during our opening hours and also allow us to redeploy staff to the Emergency Department where it can get extremely busy during the night.
Please do not turn up to the Emergency Department as an immediate alternative to the UTC and consider other alternatives first - please see Local healthcare options.

Our staff are doing their very best to care for every patient and we will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse against our staff.
