Following a successful bid of £30million of government funding, we are working up plans to expand and improve our Urgent and Emergency Care services at the Great Western Hospital, to create a more streamlined and efficient service.
To support with the design of our new buildings, we would value your feedback on our current Urgent and Emergency Care services. We are asking anybody who has used the Emergency Department, Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), Paediatrics ED, Acute Medical Unit / Short Stay Unit or Surgical Assessment Unit in the last 12 months to complete the following survey: https://gwh.formstack.com/forms/urgent_and_emergency_care_services_patient_carer_survey.
You must be over 18 to complete the survey, but can respond on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 if you are their legal parent, guardian or carer.
We will take account of the feedback you give us regarding your needs, wishes and preferences when taking forward the design of the buildings, to ensure that they support your wellbeing and health during your visit.
Throughout the design and building stages, we will be looking to patients, families and carers to be directly involved and kept appraised of the project's progression. If you would like to be more involved in the design development, please provide your contact details at the end of the survey.
If you have a disability, sensory loss, impairment, or if English is not your first language, we can help you access information about our services.
It's important for us to know when we've provided a good service or if something needs to improve.
If you notice something wrong with this web page, please contact us at gwh.webmaster@nhs.net and we'll put it right.
