T-Level Healthcare Student Placements
From February 2023, the Trust will offer 20 healthcare placements for local college students.
T-Levels are a vocational qualification (equivalent to three A-Levels), which combines classroom and job experience to meet the needs of the industry and prepare students for work or further training or study.
In 2022, the Trust supported a total of 18 T-Level students from the local community, helping to inspire many young people to pursue a career in healthcare and continue their career with us in Swindon.
Best Employer Contribution Award
As a result of this fantastic placement scheme, the Trust has been awarded the Best Employer Contribution to the College for T-Levels at the Cirencester Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony. This award recognises the commitment that the Academy’s Early Careers Team shows in helping support student aspirations and ensuring a positive experience.
This award was also made possible by the support from clinical areas, which provided a total of 315 hours’ worth of placements for these students.
