Integrated Care Alliance Coordination Centre features on NHS Providers Podcast
The latest episode of the podcast produced by NHS Providers, The Provider Podcast, features the Chief Operating Officer of Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Felicity Taylor-Drewe.
In the episode, Felicity discusses Swindon’s Integrated Care Alliance Coordination Centre. The Centre, which is based at the Great Western Hospital, integrates colleagues across our local health and care system, removing organisational boundaries so we can better coordinate our patient’s care from the moment they dial 111, 999 or walk through our doors.
In December 2023, the Coordination Centre helped redirect more than a thousand patients who were set to arrive at our Emergency and Urgent care services, to other providers.
