Venue: Central Community Centre, Emlyn Square, Swindon SN1 5BP
Date: Thursday 17 October 2024, 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Patients, carers and members of the public are invited to share their experience of accessing care at the Great Western Hospital and within the Swindon community through our community healthcare service.
This special listening event aims to brings together local people from all walks of life, with a wide range of characteristics, who are willing to share their experiences of accessibility.
Accessibility could be about physical access to services, communication difficulties or generally feeling included and welcome. We are particularly interested to hear from those who have a physical disability, including hearing or sight impairments, wheelchair users or those who are neurodiverse.
This is an opportunity for the Trust’s board members to listen and learn more about the needs of different local communities.
By bringing people together we can break down stereotypes and build bridges between different communities, fostering greater understanding, compassion, and collaboration.
Members of staff who also have experience as a patient are also welcome to attend, please register using this link https://forms.office.com/e/1piPiYmFpt or email gwh.inclusion@nhs.net
