We support patients with brain tumours, head and neck cancers, thyroid cancer, sarcoma, and neuroendocrine tumours.

Rarer cancers are often treated in Oxford, or other specialist treatment centres. Radiotherapy for brain tumours is available in Swindon.

We offer diagnostics and follow up support at Great Western Hospital and visit patient on the wards to provide the following:

  • a point of contact throughout your treatment and on-going care
  • emotional support and expert clinical advice
  • signposting to other support services (e.g. financial, social, and community)
  • health promotion, education, and provision of holistic needs assessments
  • advice and support for living well with cancer and beyond cancer treatment
  • support for patients with recurrence and transfer to palliative care services.
