Dental Access Centres provide NHS dental treatment to Swindon and Wiltshire residents who do not have a regular dentist and are in need of urgent dental care.
The service aims to offer patients with urgent dental pain an appointment within 48 hours.
While the service will always try to offer an appointment as close as possible to the patient's home, it may be necessary to travel in order to see a dentist within 48 hours.
We are not able to offer routine treatment and courses of treatment at this time.

Charges
Dental Access Centres will charge for dental treatment in line with NHS Dental Charging Bands.
Emergencies
You should go immediately to your nearest Emergency Department if you experience any of the following:
- Uncontrollable bleeding following dental extractions
- Rapidly increasing swelling around the throat or eye
- Severe trauma to the face and jaws.
