We offer a comprehensive service relating to conditions of the face, neck, mouth and jaws, including a routine assessment, diagnosis and treatment for common oral surgical conditions.
Our consultants treat a range of conditions, including facial injuries, head and neck cancers, salivary gland diseases, facial deformities, facial pain, impacted teeth, cysts and tumours of the jaws, as well as mouth ulcers and infections.
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons frequently work alongside other specialists including orthodontists, oncologists, neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons and ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeons.

Emergencies
We offer an emergency service during the week (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm).
You can be referred for emergencies such as:
- Facial swelling
- Cuts or lacerations
- Fractures of the face or eye socket
- Bleeding after surgery
- Dry socket

Treating conditions that affect the inside of your mouth. - Head and neck cancer
We specialise in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with head and neck cancers. These cancers can affect areas such as the mouth, throat, voice box, sinuses, and salivary glands. - Non-melanoma skin cancer
We treat non-melanoma skin cancers, which are common and often easily treatable. These cancers mostly affect the upper layer of skin and are typically caused by sun exposure. - Salivary gland disease
We treat chronic oral conditions that don’t always require surgery, such as recurring infections or autoimmune disorders affecting the mouth. - Facial pain
Addressing chronic pain in the face. - Jaw joint (Temporomandibular) disorders
