The blood tests department work on an appointment system only. Unfortunately, we do not have capacity to offer a walk-in service.
If you arrive without an appointment, arrangements will be made for you to return at a later date.
Patients with a blood test request from their GP must attend their own GP surgery for their test to take place.
If your GP has requested a specialised test, we will need to know what the test is for, therefore your surgery must contact us first on 01793 607497.
Patients who are being monitored by the Anti-coagulation Clinic will also need to attend their own GP surgery.
Children
Children under the age of 18 will be seen by our phlebotomy team.
Children may be accompanied by one parent or guardian (please contact us if they need special assistance).
All children under the age of 18 will need their parent/guardian to book an appointment via email before attending.
Children under the age of three years will need to have their bloods undertaken in the Paediatric Department.
