The shoulder class is a specially-designed, supervised circuit-based exercise class aimed at improving the range of movement, strength, flexibility and function, following an injury to the shoulder.

Referral

Your physiotherapist will refer you to the class if they feel it will be of benefit to your rehabilitation.

As well as attending the shoulder class, you can still continue to receive one-to-one sessions.

Class times

Tuesday, 5.00pm-5.45pm

Class location

Physiotherapy Department, South Car Park, Great Western Hospital

What to expect

Patients attend the class once a week, for eight weeks

The class is led by a physiotherapist and rehabilitation assistant.

On your first session you will complete an Oxford Shoulder Score questionnaire to assess your function; this will also be completed on your last session, to assess the improvement.
